Hi! I’m Joni, and I currently live in Sydney, Australia. I am originally from the small town of Revelstoke in British Columbia, Canada, and graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication and a minor in English Literature. I have lived in Sydney since October 2009 with my fiancé Luke Freeman and various roommates who keep life interesting.

My portfolio contains samples of work from about 2006 – present and aims to demonstrate my work in communication design, both online and in print. Some of these pieces are completely original work by me, while others were created in collaboration or within the branding guidelines of that organization.

I have always had an interest in photography in its many forms and styles, from macro to landscape and portraits to events. I am still a hobbyist, but I love getting to use DIY tricks to take a really great photo. My recent work at The Three Cheeses food blog has made food photography my focus over the last year or so, though nature and landscape photography are favourites when I get the opportunity.
